My cousin-in-law gave me a variety pack of European beers for Christmas, many of which I’ve not had before. This is one of them. It’s a bit on the malty side for my preferences, but it is indeed flavorful. ESBs aren’t my beer of choice, but I’d have this one again. It does get extra points for Crimean War references.

Also had this the other day. I’m a fan of many a beer from Belgium, but this was just too damned sweet.

I love Trooper, nothing better than a 5 litre keg sat next to the computer with a couple of days off work to chill.
